Benton N. Sauer, vice president, group creative director, has spent nearly two decades at LPK, supervising a wide variety of brand assignments in the food technology and lifestyle categories. Sauer is credited with providing key leadership, creative direction and a high level of strategic consultation on initiatives for Procter & Gamble, The Hershey Company, The Kellogg Company, Hasbro, 3M, Microsoft, IBM, Intuit, Intel, Miller Coors and Jim Beam Global. Sauer’s proven client and creative leadership skills, as well as his contributions to new business efforts, have resulted in organic growth with a number of key LPK clients.
Sauer is the driving force behind LPK’s Innoventures®, a dynamic innovation process that works to extend brand offerings and build brand business. Sauer’s Innoventures process has resulted in actionable business opportunities for Procter & Gamble, The Kellogg Company and Jim Beam Global, among others.
In addition to his professional work at LPK, Sauer has also taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky University, guest lecturing on Brand Design Innovation as well as Creativity Training. Sauer holds a B.S. in graphic design from the University of Cincinnati Design, Architecture, Art and Planning program. (DAAP).
